Library rules
Who wants to be a member of our library he have to register at first and get a reader´s legitimation. After he accept our library rules, he became our member.
Reader´s legitimation can be made to:
- Czech citizens with personal legitimation
- foreign citizens with permission to stay or passport after paying
registration fee (for 12 months since registration):
- 100,- adults
- 50,- seniors, students, childrens
- 20,- recreants
- 15,- one-off lend (also a fee for only-in-library lend for non-members.)
After the reader gets the readers legitimation he can use all departments. This legitimation can use only the person signed on it and when he enter any library deparment he have to show it to librarian. In the case of its lost, the reader must tell it to librarian and she make a new one for fee 20,- CZK.
The reader can´t borrow more than 10 books and 10 magazines. Lending time is one month (30 days), magazines for 14 days. Lending can be prolongate (also by phone) if the certain book isn´t in reservation. The magazines aren´t prolongable. Newspapers and books in studying and reading dept. can be read only in library. If reader can´t find certain book in our catalog we can order it from university libraries for a fee 60,- CZK. Reservation fee is 10,- CZK. CD lending fee is 10,- CZK for a day, 15,- CZK for a weekend. Vallachien regional literature is possible to study only in library. Readers can use a possibility of printing, scanning and binding service in Studying department. The books from hand-library can be lend only against reader´s sign and paid-on from 200,- CZK to 500,- CZK (set by librarian). Foreign language literature, art literature and sound books are in music department.
Internet is in adult and studying and reading department and in children department.
In a case that reader doesn´t bring the books in 1 month, he pay a fee (remainder):
1. remainder 10,- Kč (not
delivered)
2. remainder 25,- Kč (send after 20 days gone from 1. remainder)
3. remainder 35,- Kč (send after 20 days gone from 2. remainder)
Remainder letter 60,- Kč (send after 20 days gone from 3. remainder)
If remainders has no effect, the library will solve it by the Court. All
Court expanses pay the reader.
In a case of lost or damage of lent book, the reader must compensate it by:
a) the same copy
b) financial compensation
- price of book + 100,- CZK
- price of magazines + 30,- CZK
- price of CD + 100,- CZK
c) binding photocopy
d) damage of EAN code is for fee 10,- CZK.
The way of compensation set librarian.
The reader must announce:
a) change of name, address, number of personal legitimation
b) lost of reader legitimation
c) infectious illness (due to books dezinfection)
Readers rights and duties became extinct if
a) deregister
b) reader not respect the library rules.
